Purpose of the website

The public website provides general information about Hfield Systems, its services, operating approach, case studies, proof or evidence, educational material, and technical guides. It is not a project-specific engineering plan, authorization to modify a system, a guarantee of a particular result, a substitute for environment-specific assessment, or a signed customer service agreement.

No customer engagement is created by website use

Using this website, sending a contact form, asking an initial question, or receiving an initial response does not by itself create a customer engagement, professional-services agreement, duty to perform project work, or obligation for Hfield Systems to accept a project. When they exist, specific project work is governed by the applicable written agreement, proposal, Statement of Work, marketplace agreement, or other mutually accepted project terms.

Third-party marketplaces

These Terms govern the Hfield Systems website and invited customer portal. Work, communications, payments, disputes, refunds, accounts, or other activity conducted through an independent third-party marketplace may also be governed by that platform's applicable terms and policies. Where a conflict concerns activity conducted through that marketplace, the marketplace's applicable rules control for that activity.

Customer portal

Portal access is invitation-only and intended for the authorized recipient. The portal contains customer-safe status information and may not include every internal technical or administrative detail. Signed project agreements and direct project communications control if they are inconsistent with a portal summary.

Protect invitation links and authenticated devices. Do not attempt to access another customer's jobs or administrative interfaces. Access may expire or be revoked for security or operational reasons.

Acceptable use

Do not intentionally:

• Interfere with the availability or security of the website or portal.
• Bypass authentication or access controls, or access another customer's information.
• Submit malicious code, spam, deceptive submissions, or unlawful content.
• Conduct unauthorized probing or testing, or seek unauthorized administrative access.
• Misuse nonpublic portal information.

Technical and educational content

General infrastructure and technical guidance can cause downtime, configuration problems, security issues, or data loss if applied blindly to a different environment. You are responsible for determining whether information applies to your systems and for obtaining appropriate authorization and qualified review before acting. Hfield Systems does not guarantee that general technical information is error-free.

Case studies and proof of work

Public evidence may be anonymized, summarized, or sanitized. Results from one environment do not guarantee identical results in another, and publication does not imply endorsement by customers whose identities are not intentionally published. Third-party names, software, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Website material and intellectual property

Unless otherwise indicated, original Hfield-created website text, site design, Hfield-created graphics, and other original Hfield website material may be owned by Hfield Systems or used with permission. You may view and use the website for normal informational purposes. These Terms do not claim ownership of customer information or systems, third-party software or trademarks, or open-source software.

Third-party links and resources

Links to third-party resources may be provided for convenience. Hfield Systems does not control their content, availability, or security, and a link does not automatically mean endorsement.

Availability and changes

Public website and portal features may change, and services may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or other reasons. Important project decisions should use established customer communication paths and not depend solely on portal availability.

General information and environment-specific actions

The website and general educational material are provided for informational purposes. Hfield Systems makes reasonable efforts to keep public information useful and accurate, but does not guarantee that every page will always be complete, current, error-free, or suitable for a particular environment. Hfield Systems is not responsible for changes you independently make to your systems based solely on general website or guide information outside an applicable Hfield engagement or project-specific authorization.

Project agreements control

If these Terms conflict with an executed customer agreement governing specific Hfield Systems services, that customer agreement controls for those services. If a conflict concerns marketplace-controlled activity, the marketplace's applicable rules control for that activity.
